What do you think?

FutureGov Networks is in beta, which means we're still working on it. We want it to be useful so tell us what you think and what else you'd like to see and we'll make it happen.

Collaboration IQ for the social organisation

Earlier this month, we ran a FutureGov Network event in partnership with Huddle over at Sun Microsystems (a big thanks to both for supporting that!).
'The Social Organisation: internal collaboration for councils' featured talks from Mark O'Neill (Chief Information Officer at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport) and Anne McCrossan (presentation already up online here), as well as an intro from me and a demo from Huddle.
The session was due to finish with something a little more interactive with a video from Nick Jankel of wecreate. Now we had a few technical issues on the day (how does that Internet thing work again?), but as promised here is what we were intending to show.
Nick speaks about the opportunities and challenges inherent within effective and change-making collaboration - particularly focused on social change and public sector innovation.
Nick also gives 7 top tips and exercises to engage viewers in the key skills of the collaborative individual and organisation.
FutureGov have also teamed up with Nick to work with organisations on the principles set out in his video. If you are interested in finding out more about the wecreate toolkit, drop me a line.
